i search but of course i couldnt find any DIY. I just got a set of used volks that just need to have the lip polished. Can anyone point me in the right direction whether i should pay someone to do or if i could do it with some effort?

yeah there youngflyer.... try searching for a thread for wheels by TCPete... he did a very nice diy / step by step posted of polishing a set of BBS's for his tc that were very hot... think that thread started around beginning of March and went for a few months on here. Search for his threads If you cant find it let me know.

well just different levels of sanding is all it really is. the wheels Pete picked up were in dire need of major TLC.... yours may not be like that.

http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=259139 these are the wheels. two of the wheels of very minor curbing that i think im just going to leave alone... all four lips though have water marks and pitting!
