I know that the part size for toyota cars is SD3. When I searched scions on the fram website no part number came up. I was thinking it would also be SD3 since the echo is included for that part size.
Does anyone have the fram suredrain on their scion? And would the SD3 size fit?

SD3 fits but the thing is it wont drain as much oil since the valve goes in about 1/2inch compared to nothing when you remove the oil drain plug that came with the car...

not to mention it may not work very well. I had purchased one a while back for my X's Neon, and it was in tight and still leaked. $7 POS is all it is. Its not tough to get to the drain plug, and like someone else mentioned, you are allowing all the crud to empty out, rather then not draining cause of the system.

yeah, I've got the suredrain on my pos nissan truck and it drains really slow. It's nice if you aren't in a hurry, and don't want to get as dirty..but otherwise waste of money. I wouldn't buy one for my Scion.

Fram are some of the lowest quality/rated oil filters out
there. Google it and you'll see.

I BOUGHT ONE OF THOSE SUREDRAINS FOR MY DURANGO, AND AFTER ABOUT 6K MILES IT STARTED LEAKING. NOT WORTH IT, PLUS, IT DOES DRAIN REAL SLOW.
