I was at Redline Tuning yesterday morning to have their Hood QuickLIFT kit installed on my xA. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. It's a really nice kit, a very quick installation for a very inexpensive price.

How hard is it to close it? I might have to pick one up...

edit: ehhhh, I don't know about boring holes...I'd like to be able to go back to stock..

 

It's not hard to close at all. Very nice kit. All of the mountings use stock holes. No extra brackets or drilling holes all over the place. The hole you need to bore out is for a clip that holds the washer fluid hose in place. It's very easy to go back to stock with this kit.

 

The xA is our latest addition - it is a real nice install. Our guess is that if people take their time, it might take 15 minutes to put it in. We have incorporated our high-end QuickLIFT ELITE stainless steel gas spring into this mono-spring design. Be sure to email us if you have any questions, or check out the link at the top of the post for photos of the kit.

The xA QuickLIFT kit is a direct bolt-in, only a small change needs to be made to an existing mounting hole. It is extremely clean and a really sharp install.

Do you all make a reverse hood mod kit? (Hinge-point at the front of the car. . .Like the old rx7's) I'm thinkin' about doing this, but haven't really seen anything.
