Default Thinking about selling my xB Hot Lava RS 1

I have a first limited-release series xB. It is a 2004 xB with automatic trans and 45,000 miles. Excellent condition. I am wanting to sell it but when I look up the blue book value there is no were to add the RS1 package. I see people selling them for 10,500 is that average?

Thanks for your help!

Just go by what people around you are selling their's for. Compare, but 8-10k is quite reasonable.

Seems like you might get more for it if you sell it to an enthusiast. Most 'regular' people probably won't pay more for a special release version, unfortunately.

From one RS1 owner to another ... you can get 10K for it no problem, but i would start higher. Somewhere around 13.5K.

Ahhhh, if i only had 10K laying around .....

I would start higher at $15K and let the market decide. I've been tempted to sell my xB (2005, under 25,000 miles, in perfect condition), but last summer would have been the perfect time to have sold it when gas prices went through the roof. Gas prices are expected to fall further, so that is one segment we can't tap into.

That is a great Idea I guess I will list it higher and see what happens. My xB is paid off so it is costing me nothing and I am in no hurry to sell it so I can hold out if I want to. I will put it up for sale in a few days. Gona take updated pictures!

Thanks Guys!

Perhaps, what we are saying is: If you are selling it to one of us scionlifer's, sell it low. If you are selling to someone else, get every last dollar out of them. Ditto to CESIMONSEZ "if only I had 10K laying around".

I just tried to post it in the classified section for sale but I am not approved to post there because my post count is not hight enough. I really dont want to go around the forum and post ***** just to get my post count up. That kind of defeats the purpose of the rule.

But it is for sale now, if any one is interested!

Getting to 50 isn't really that hard. Spend a couple days and comment on some other people's stuff, you'll get there in no time.

I guess I could do that just did not want to clutter the boards just to get to 50. I also have a 4X4 and on a 4X4 forum I have about 3000 post there. and always hated when someone would come around and post a lot just to get to the 50 for a classified section. haha i guess i can be that guy for once!

Just don't do it all in one night... space it out. Few posts a day will get you there in a week without spamming.
