Default I NEED SERIOUS HELP!! PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!

Hey everyone, well my xB has just gone through TOOO much crap, 2 accidents (hitting very large animals) and me taking it to numerous shops to get it fixed, only finding that 1 shop did a COMPLETE HACK JOB....i need help getting my box back to normal..first things first, the exterior...my front bumper, grill, front lip, fenders, and sideskirts ARE ALL missing bolts :S...or some are in the wrong places, so if i were to hit a really bad rut, sad to say, but i think my whole front end would fall off, BECAUSE the shop "didnt know which bolts were which" they said! :S:S:S..so i was wondering if anyone knows of a site/place i can buy all OEM bolts/parts, so i can get back on track..2nd, my interior!! the speakers i had put in by "AudioExpress" ARE ____, 1 of them was actually not even wire correctly, and i took it back like 7 times, and they would not fix it, because i didnt purchase their "2 yr warranty" :/ so im stuck with a passanger side speaker that doesnt work, so i also need help in which speakers are the best, and where i can buy wiring to wire them back up...3rd the engine bay...everytime i turn my A/C on to full blast, my car squeals like there is no tomorrow..i have to rev the engine to the highest RPM for about 3 minutes before the high intense squeal finally stops..any idea on what this squealing can be? i would love my A/C to be normal, im always rolling with the windows down to keep me cool, because this squealing is just WAY too embarrasing... well this is the short list of things of MANY THINGS wrong with my BOX, so if ANYONE can help me out on where i can get OEM parts for a decent price, and wiring help..it would be GREATLY appreciated...i have a month to get this box back on track, ill be going off to school and be driving a minimum of 140 miles per day, so i need it in tip-top condition...sorry for the long post, and thanks for the people that read it!

THANK YOU,

Z
p.s., some of it might not make sense, but hopefully you get the idea of what im talkin about!!

If you want to buy the parts and they even have pictures to go w/ some items - www.trdsparks.com

I would recommend looking for the parts you need at a junkyard - http://www.car-part.com/

Junkyard would be the best recommendation imho. As for "AudioExpress", I don't think you could have found a worse speaker manufacturer.

The squealing on the AC could be a few things. With the two accidents, it could have been a push on the compressor which would cause the pulley to bind up. If this is the case (who knows), the pulley could be turning a different revolution than the rest of the belt assembly (not sure though). Another possible problem, if there was any fluid which may have leaked on the belt at any time, this could have caused the belt tension to loosen just enough to squeal at heavy loads. Last bit here... check the other pulleys for any that may have been damaged from nicks or bumps. A pulley that is out of round can cause major damage to the engine over time. Not to mention a loss of MPG.

Also, please please please make sure you rate the shop that did the hack job so other scion owners know not to go there. Also, make sure you tell the shop that you are going to give them a very bad review on the forums you hang out at. Just don't tell them which forums.

Yeah your belt is loose for sure and it also runs the alternator and the water pump so reving the engine while it is squeeling is NOT a good idea. Just get in there and tighten it up a little - proper tension is about 1/4 inch deflection with 20 pounds of push on the longer span of the belt between pulleys. Do Not over tighten!

Some dealer body shops are good and will probably be able to put OEM parts back in the right place . . . note that I said good not great. In all fairness the rear quarter glass was reinstalled by an outside glass guy not the dealer.

wow, seriously? who repaired your car after the accidents? did you go through your insurance company? did you take it to one of their reccommended shops? if you did, they usually warranty the repairs or something. you should have taken it back and never accepted it back until it was completely corrected dude. now you gotta go through all this trouble for something that shoulda been done right in the first place.

you're a consumer, and you have rights, but man, you have gotten seriously taken.

^^ yes i did go to an insurance company, and they didnt give me any recommended shops...they did give me one, but that shop was charging me 1300.00 for labor :S and the insurance company told me i had to pay that out of pocket..so i went to a smaller, local shop...supposedly "the best in town" from what i heard from everyone else....so i went there, and they ____ed it up..and yes i did i left my car there, and the man (he was like 45 yrs old) kept saying he's never seen a car like it, and he doesnt understand the bolting, and where it all went!!! i was FURIOUS i fought with them for about 3 1/2 weeks, and finally gave up, when they wouldnt do NOTHING about it..yes i know my life sucks, i get screwed over alot..,,even though i fight, and fight...so i gave up because my dad was angry, and he said "fck it, we'll do it ourselves" well yeah that "we'll do it" changed into "next week" then "couple more days" now its been like 4 months since the "we'll work on it" stage..so im getting sick of my box being so out of shape.. I NEED IT FIXED

so, in other words the shop didn' t know how to do their job? they didn't do the work properly, so why on earth did you let them get paid?

dude, it is a friggan scion, it is a japanese econobox. it is brutally simple and designed to be taken apart and put back together again for modding. it isn't a porsche carrera gt or a bugatti veyron. you shoulda had the car towed away to another shop if they said they don't understand how to bolt a car together, or you shoulda gone to a toyota dealership with a body shop. also, name the body shop so people in your area won't go there when they get hit. sheesh.

If it makes you feel any better... EVERY time I've had a car in a body shop, it's come back with something not done right. Superficially, it might look fine from a couple feet away. If you start looking closer, there's missing/wrong fasteners, missing parts, bad paint, defective parts, bad panel alignment, etc.

Yeah I hear that! People just can't fix these boxes like the robots that built them in the first place. Looking at my "repaired" rear quarter panel in good sunlight I see flat white paint, orange peel, sagging, and drips and runs with some overspray on the good paint. Don't even get me started on the color mismatch and their attempt to "blend" the paint into the original finish by painting the rear driver side door which was perfect the way it was.

That sucks man. If you put together a list of the OEM parts you need, I could probably get you the stuff for a little over cost.
