okk you guys kno how on the cars if you press the lock button 2 times the car honks??
well on my tc no matter how many times i press the button dont even honk..
is it just me or same to u guys??

 

For some strange, STUPID, reason don't honk or beep. For an even STUPIDER reason, only some of the Scion Security systems beep.

 

I though that was part of the security alarm. Do you have the security alarm

 

i suppose it happens to you guys too??

 

the scion tc, even with the scion security system, does not beep. it only blinks the turn signals.

scion xa's and xb's have a beep when they are locked or unlock, but not the tc.

if you want it to beep, buy an aftermarket alarm system.

 

^^^ or you can wire up any horn you want to the 12v source that locks the doors. That's what I did with a clarion soft chirp.

 

The security systems installed by Southeast Toyota beep.

 

Yeah A buddy of mine has a TC and did not get the security package so his does not beep or honk. The dealer told him the security package beeps not honks?

 

The Scion Security does not do anything beyond flashing the lights. If you hear otherwise you may want to find out if it was the actual SCION Security that was installed and not some other aftermarket one the dealer uses.
