not that hard, word of advice: don't install it by yourself it can get tough

have two people you and someone else with brains. have a 12 mm socket ready on both sides . Have hood open then have one person hold one side in the tip close to the mirror , then you on the other side take out the 2 12mm bolts holding hood on one side, wait for the other person to take out the other 2 12mm from his or her side and boom hood is off.
ps. make sure all the lines for the windshield fluid are taken off before doing this.
