after removing my taillights from my xB i noticed that the "nubs" on the taillight covers will not budge at all from the taillight housing.....i am trying to red out my taillights, but i don't want to paint the outside. I was planning on painting the inside of the taillight covers red, but i can't get the damn things off.....pls help if you have taken them off before!?!?!?!?!? thanks!!!!

i dunno man, but IMO, the sprays just dont look as great as the vinyl overlay that bluebatmobile sells. its cheap, and comes out very nice lookin. i have seen a couple of sprays and dont really like any of the outcomes. but that is just my 2cents.
PM randode or look at the thread about his red-out kit results using the search tool...it was pretty recent, and looks great.

to remove the tail lights:
Open the back door and remove the plastic "door" to access the back of the light. There is one for each side.
Unplug the wiring harness from the back of the light.
Remove the two nuts on the back of each light with a deep 10mm socket.
Tip the top of the light away from the car, then pull up and out. It is tight, but will "pop" away from the car. You may want to put some masking tape on the paint around the light so you dont scratch up the car. They go back in easier than they come out.

Here's A pic of my painted red lights. With a little patience and time you can have great results.
