I have looked, searched, called and thrown things in hope that this would end.
The stock stereo in my Scion xB is Pioneer. But it doesn't have the matching plug(p-plug?) for connecting to the pioneer SM Direct Adapter.
Am I to understand, nobody makes one?

Has anybody seen a solution to this w/o taking out the stock deck/purchasing the XM add-on from Scion? Difficulty=XM direct, not a roady.

Thanks in advance

Loves my Scion so far......less than 24 hours right now.

I asked the same and the dealer had NO answers.
I called Crutchfield and they researched it an called me back. The Pioneer radio in the Scions are properitary and the connectors are all totally different from the over the counter versions.
A Toyota Service Manager from the Miami area told me it could be adapted BUT you would have to cut wires. Apparantly that is a big NO-NO with Toyota!
Couple all that with the absolutley ridiculous price that Toyota asks for the XM radio really sucks!
