Ok guys and girls new to the Scion world for about two days now, first off love it. I never thought I would but I love it. Bought it used from the general manager at the toyota dealer. He loaded it with almost everything scion offers. Here is our boggle, the navi system. He hasnt gave me the book on it yet, so we have no clue how to do anything on it. This might be dumb but I see a dvd slot, does it play movies or just the map dvd? We tried it last night and only get sound. I played with some of the stuff but there is alot of stuff have no clue how to program. Any help would be awsome.

Thanks
Mark

Try setting your parking brake and you should have video. It's a safety feature that can be bypassed, it you have the know how.

I tried that and still nothing but sound. Thought it was because it was a dvr disc so I got a regular dvd and still just sound. Do you know how to bypass the brake I can handle it if I know what to do.

We took it back to the dealer to get the new tires they trew in with the deal and I asked them about the dvd player, they have no idea how to use it. How can you sell it and not no how to use it. I have to go back next week to give them a price quote on a car wrap and print jobs and someone there is going to tell me something.
