Default HOTCHKIS SUSPENSION KIT STAGE 1

Hi all,

Probably a noob question to most here, but my 2010 Scion TC is my first tuner vehicle. I've run the automobile enthusiast gamut from off-road vehicles and mods to old school Cadillac restorations to motorcycle road racing. So now Im livin the tuner life and can't wait to get started!

Im not looking just yet at AutoX, so most of the driving will be done on twisties during the weekend and an occasional commute to work.

Any opinions on ride quality with almost a 2-inch drop F/R? Pretty rough? I don't want to have to get a back-e-otomy after driving only a short distance. I understand the mods will stiffen the ride a bit, I just dont want to go over board with it.

I will also be running XXR 518's 18x7 5 x 100 Offset: HPO with 225/40/18.

Here are the specs on the springs and sway bars:

SPRING SPECS
Front 1.7" (43mm) Drop 175 lbs/in (Stock 150 lbs/in)
Rear 1.97" (50mm) Drop 285 lb/in (245 lbs/in)

SWAY BAR SPECS:
Front Bar - 15/16" (24mm) - 2 position adjustable
Rear Bar - 1 1/16" (27mm) - 3 position adjustable
% Stiffer Than Stock
Front Bar - 40% / 68%
Rear Bar - 273% / 304% / 338%

Sorry for all the questions, but I appreciate any feedback.....including flaming if warranted.

Thanks Again!

Hotchkis sway bars are the stiffest sways out there right now. They make a HUGE difference in handling, but are a little harsh over uneven pavement...

As for the Hotchkis springs, I've heard good and bad reviews about them.

oh okay. sorry lol missed the title. well keep the sways i hear good things about them. but honestly i would go with coils cus the money you spend on springs and the strut combo will just go to coils anyways. depending on what type of riding you will be doing they have different ones out there
