I picked up my "box" today :) LOVE it! I want to thank all of you who gave me advice on financing mods into the deal. I ended up financing only the security system and the door sill enhancements (they look really cool). Glad cuz this way, I kept my payments nice and low. As most of you advised, I will get more mods as money becomes available.

The sales team was very professional and the deal was painless. However, the guy who was scraping the sticker off of the inside of the back passenger window sprayed a LOT of some kind of cleaner (windex maybe) onto the window to work the sticker off. WHen I looked back there, it was dripping all down the window and into the door jam. He did wipe it up, but after the fact. Am I making to big a deal out of this? There is rubber on the bottom of the window, but I wonder how much got in? I just don't want any parts in the door jam to rust, or whatever. I called the dealer and sales manager said it will evaporate, but I don't know...I'm thinking nasty stains inside my door jam and etc. Is this possible?

What irked me was that it was obvious this guy didn't want to be doing this task (he finally sent it to the service dept so they could get the stickers off and wash the car). I know he would have been more careful had it been HIS new car. Should I let it go or what?

let it go man , it will evaporate and all parts inside are painted or rust prepared not to mention a vapor barrier , just wipe any that may be left and then stop worrying , all is well and congrats on your new car!!

just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you.

Like said above, I wouldn't worry about it...

That stuff does evaporate...

When I bought mine the dealership didn't detail it! It was dark when I bought it and the next morning I noticed there was pine needles all over the carpet and dust on the dash etc... it was obvious to me that they didn't detail it...

Also, the main fuse box cover was off and sitting on the side of the engine! It was all scratched up but still fit back on the fuse box... nothing to worry about though. I put the cover back on and cleaned the car. I didn't feel like driving the 45 minutes back to the dealership just to have them detail it again, I can do that myself....

Love the car though!
