Default What exhaust brand and size for turbo tc 3 inch or 2.5 ?

EXCUSE ME if someone here has writen a thread about this already but i cant find it .

I have a 07 going on boost soon and i been trying to find out if i should get a 2,5 inch pipe or 3 inch . Im looking to get around 305 hp with my set up but i know im going to need a bigger exhaust . There are many opinions here of what is good or what they think is good but i need advice from someone that is on boost and had a normal pipe and went to a bigger 3 inch . What brand is out there that you guys think would be good for a 3 inch or should i have the pipes done my self .

I have a local guy that had a cheap ebay turbo setup running 295 hp with a 3 inch magnaflow system and the piping done at a local shop . He wants to sell the system for 350 with the s pipe and i was wondering if i should get it , or is there something better out there . i just dont want to buy something now and have to change it again later on .

Thank you any honest suggestions will be great

2.5 is good enough for 305 if you are going to push alot more in the near future might as well get the 3 inch. but 350 for a 3 inch custom exhaust is not bad. i think down here miami muffler charges like 400 to do that work. maybe less i dunno.

I'd grab it, if you like the way it sounds.
All depends on what Goals you're trying to reach..
I figure under 300 or so, 2.5" is ok, but who knows.. I may be wrong?

3" ftw, but if you found a good 2.5" deal that will work.. ptuning is the best non custom turbo exhaust out there but comes with a price for what its worth

just get the ptuning 3" s-pipe and custom 3" stainless piping. i've posted some videos somehwere around here with the sound. It was in a "3" exhaust on a N/A car" thread in forced induction.

The guy is selling the exhaust with the s pipe also 3 inch . wow someone said 400hp , now that is a nice number ,
The guy selling this exhaust had a 2.5 exhaust and he said it was nice but after changing to the 3 inch he saw a difference in the dyno and the street with more air flow.HE sadly blew up after changing to 14 pounds of boost with everything stock no tunning and blew up motor. Its a nice exhaust but i just dont like the tip . The dezod kit is over 600 bucks looks nice yes , 3 inch yes but the tip of the exhaust is so lame to me . I wish i could just cut my hks exhaust tip and use it with a 3 inch custom pipe just like this guy did so i can have the looks and the 3 inch .

it showed a difference on him cause he was probably making over 300 after going to 14 psi. but what a fool going to 14 psi without a tune lol! i know who your talking about i spoke with him about his intercooler piping. but i wouldnt' pay 350 for a lil more you can get a custom one made from miami muffler and you can even use your hks tip! might be cheaper since you use your tip and not theres. i think i even raced this guy in okeechobee before when i was on 11 psi. car wasnt that impressive.if you can lower the price under 300 i say get it if not go to miami muffler and get a quote and let them know your going to use your tip after they give you there quote with there tip.

NOW we are talking if you tell me i can have new piping at 3 inch with my hks tip i would get right now . i think the hks is 60mm in the piping but how would they make it fit in the 3 inch piping . Miami mufflers sounds good but from the looks of this exhaust i was not so impress with the work but thank you for the input , i will go ask for prices this weekend , should i show them the pictures i have here because im assuming i will need them to also make me the s pipe at 3 inch .
