View Full Version : I finally christened my Xb.
oni424 01-27-2005, 06:34 PM I have had my box for 7 months and finally "christened my car. I'm 30 and don't have to stoop to doing this kind of thing but after dinner last night my g/f and I "christened" it. I was suprised at how well this car is for that type of action.
THE_DON 01-27-2005, 06:52 PM If you did what I think you did... Yeah, it works for that.
The carpeted rear area helps a lot. I used to have a Matrix, and
when you fold the seats flat there's a hard "bed liner" like floor..
That's a good way to hurt yourself!
The box is more comfortable. I only wish they still had drive-in movie theaters
around here!! I would use it even more. haha

superjeer 01-27-2005, 06:53 PM got a little snatch in the box, eh?
adamisbomb 01-27-2005, 07:19 PM got a little snatch in the box, eh?

Lonely_Raven 01-27-2005, 08:19 PM I hate to admit, but while eyeballing the large back seat
area, I figured the girlfriend would approve of it! :)
AustinxB 01-27-2005, 08:25 PM I christened mine in a similar way a month ago. I agree, the Xb has enough room for an interesting experience. Sadly, my car has also been thrown up in...twice!!!
Sciond 01-27-2005, 08:28 PM soon for amateur video release

dunno about you guys but evertime i "christen" any of my previous cars i end up getting into an accident.
timinaz 01-31-2005, 02:01 AM Heh birds have "christened" my car already...
squarepants 01-31-2005, 02:20 AM i won't do that in my box brings back luck for your car trust me,i had a honda civic i did that same thing and in a couple of days all kinda crap start happening to my car like the driver side doors won't lock, the engine had a funny noise...only 45k on the car at the time, the alarm won't work right change head light bulbs like evey 2 months learn my lesson with that one think i'll get a room instead anyway good luck..
firesquare 01-31-2005, 02:32 AM best thread of 2005
i would have made a thread like this last year but was afraid it would get deleted.
hotbox05 01-31-2005, 02:33 AM yeah old cars will die if u christen them , i think they only like being christened by the owner and whoever they so choose , not a second or third owner , lol
squarepants 01-31-2005, 02:34 AM be careful doing it in your car it can bring bad luck thats why i had to get rid of my honda civic, the alarm would not work right, the driver side door won't lock, had a loud noise in the engine(rattle) and had to change headlight bulbs like every 2 or 3 months did i mention i only had 45 k good luck..
squarepants 01-31-2005, 02:39 AM how many times i post a reply..
blkyotabb 01-31-2005, 02:41 AM this is the exact reason my g/f made me pass up the tc for the xb
CBSIMONSEZ 01-31-2005, 04:50 PM dunno about you guys but evertime i "christen" any of my previous cars i end up getting into an accident.
You know, its easier if you park while doing the deed. Although driving and getting sum would be interesting. Try explaining that to your insurance company.
oni424 01-31-2005, 05:00 PM Never had any bad luck after the deed was done so.... My car still runs great. I smile when I see her toe marks on my window. I am definatly not washing that off for a while. The not doing it cvause it is bad luck is just silly superstition.
superjeer 01-31-2005, 05:07 PM yeah old cars will die if u christen them , i think they only like being christened by the owner and whoever they so choose , not a second or third owner , lol'cause for the car that's sloppy seconds and that's just nasty.
superjeer 01-31-2005, 05:08 PM dunno about you guys but evertime i "christen" any of my previous cars i end up getting into an accident.

InfamousBri 01-31-2005, 06:53 PM Thats it! I'm forwarding this thread to my fiance! He'll love it (and of course will want to christen both the xB and xA)
:-)
I doubt the xA would have enough room to be christened in. I'm definitely christening my tC when I get it though. Especially with the reclining rear seats.
hotbox05 01-31-2005, 07:42 PM yeah old cars will die if u christen them , i think they only like being christened by the owner and whoever they so choose , not a second or third owner , lol'cause for the car that's sloppy seconds and that's just nasty. word boy , lol
pharynx 02-01-2005, 03:41 AM lol funny post, too many replies to qoute them all, lol. Good Times.

Chimmy3 02-01-2005, 04:45 AM hmm i'm starting to wonder if installing an armrest would get in the way of such... activities... :eyebrow:
Buebie 02-01-2005, 05:07 AM I christened the box last night. Man, those windows get foggy as hell. But the way the sets lay down it makes a nice bed. My only problem was not being able to recline the rear seat...I kept getting hit in the face with boobs.
Pimpe_Ok 02-01-2005, 05:55 AM  omg now thats a man..... and not the arm rest wont get in the way i have one....  best thred ever....

crayonBOX 02-01-2005, 06:51 AM now i know...
1. preston anti fog sucks
2. get darker tint if to be in a parking lot (got caught...twice...)
3. you dont have to be in park :D
{my land speed record: 45mph}
TJandBOXCARWILLIE 02-01-2005, 07:44 AM Yeah, the first time you let loose with a loud, long one...you got to let the windows down, let in some fresh air...
Wait. That's not what you meant by christened, I think...
Nevermind.
:lalala:
hotbox05 02-01-2005, 09:11 AM lol. how do u christen while driving? i mean if it was in a huge closed off parking lot i get it but hmm.
Pimpe_Ok 02-01-2005, 02:36 PM  its not easy but its fun..... and let me tell u there is nothing like doing "that" doing 65mph down the freeway....... lol well let me be honest i was doing 35 down the side of the freeway.... :silly: but it can be dune!
oni424 02-01-2005, 03:36 PM ...I kept getting hit in the face with boobs.
And you have a problem with that?
oni424 02-01-2005, 03:38 PM I was afraid I was going to get censored or deleted for this thread.
Pimpe_Ok 02-01-2005, 06:41 PM  now why would they go and do that??? this is the best thred of 2005 on this hole site..... plus there is nothing wrong being said exept for the boobs thing.... lol this is just life we all know that... :P
crayonBOX 02-01-2005, 11:15 PM parking lots aren't long enough.. long empty road, new years eve..
you really need solid momentum that wont stop and doesnt need to change..
not to mention the ability to "set up" beforehand (move seats, shift etc.)

FrankenScion 02-24-2005, 09:36 PM This is one of the reasons why I got the Zeta armrest instead of the Boomerang (it folds out the way).
kgzero 02-24-2005, 10:07 PM Anyone else do the deed in your scion?
Hey hotbox05 I see you have an xA. As a fellow Tetris extrodanaire, I am assigning you a challenge.
Use your know how to make  in the xa!
:rofl:Dude if it wasnt my best friends car(practically mine) I would , She doesnt go online so i say it's mine cuz hell i've done soo much work on it and i got her hooked up with a great dealership up here. maybe i'll take it for a weekend and christen
You christening someone elses car would be awsome and funny.
unless it was my xA. :eyebrow:
CBSIMONSEZ 02-24-2005, 11:45 PM ... next post .. scion xb carpet cleaning tips..
Simple Green , a soft bristled brush, and a clean cloth. :lalala:
Now if i can just get my box christened damnit! I really need to get those windows tinted, and let the weather warm up a little bit. Im so glad i didnt do this with my X. I think i would have to sell my Mistress Lava if i did.
tripertripp 02-25-2005, 12:36 AM i would agree this is the BEST thread i have ever read
I also have a suggestion for those that arent sure where to do this type of actvity without getting caught well just pull into a scion dealership park between cars just like yours so you just blend in. I suppose you could do this at any other dealership as well just my suggestion ill have to try it out sometime myself i have yet to christen my box but i hope to soon
HammerHead 02-25-2005, 01:23 AM I christened the box last night. Man, those windows get foggy as hell. But the way the sets lay down it makes a nice bed. My only problem was not being able to recline the rear seat...I kept getting hit in the face with boobs.
Well, I could think of worse things than getting hit in the face with boobs. :silly:
hotbox05 02-25-2005, 01:37 AM Anyone else do the deed in your scion?

"Can I see it?"
"Sure let's go outside, I'll show you what I've got in the back"
"What's back there?"
"My oh face"
"What's an 'oh face'?"
"Hop in, I'll show you"

scionTc_girl 10-03-2005, 05:42 AM haha
Mosh_xB 10-03-2005, 10:10 AM I'm not even kidding...but the original reason I wanted an xB over an xA was the size of the backseat. Hahahaha
I'm definitely glad I went with the xB! :P
luvmyxb 10-03-2005, 11:17 AM I christened mine in a similar way a month ago. I agree, the Xb has enough room for an interesting experience. Sadly, my car has also been thrown up in...twice!!!You must be doin' it wrong if they throw up afterward. Could be that gag reflex!
