I searched around one entire night to find an intake with dyno's that I liked. I found a weapon r. The next night I searched for the best price which happen to be on ebay from Rennenmotors. I paid for it on the 20th. It took them a full week to tell me this (this is the actual emal from them).

The one intake we had on hand was mispackaged and is missing parts to complete the intake assembly. We have ordered more from Weapon-R but they are not expected to arrive until around the 15th of February. We are sorry for this inconvenience but your payment will be refunded to you immediately. If you would like to wait or reorder, please call us at 909-468-1215. Thank you for your cooperation.

I'd be happy with that if I were you. You could have gotten burned much worse on E-bay. Not that I agree with what they did, but much shadier things go down on E-bay.

They offered to give you a full refund immediately. Sounds fair to me.

And what is a Duece Bag? Does that mean 2 bags?

? i think they handled the situation fine. They could have sent you the product with missing parts or not give you a refund. I personally dont find anything wrong with that.

Agreed... could of gone alot wrost.

I think people are just impatient, since people get products 3-5 days from an online store and they expect this with eBay.

I had time when I had to wait close to 4 weeks before I even get the item.

I think he ment "Douche Bag". For when women feel 'not so fresh' :P

Anyway, I think they handled things nicely, you got your money back and an email stating what happened. This folks, is good customer service. You could have gotten a part you couldn't use with no contact with the people who have your cash.

Na as soon as I see my money back I am ordering from a company in ny. I called to make sure they had it in stock.

All I was trying to say earlier is they put an item on ebay and didn't actually look to make sure everythink was good to go. It took them a week after I paid them to tell me they can't send it out b/c its missing parts etc, thats bull. screw them!

Thanks for the warning. i saw their auctions and was thinking about it, but have heard some questionable things about Weapon-R products so I held off. There was something about that rennenmotors offerings that just set off my internal alarm.

Just because people get screwed worse doesn't mean he didn't get a raw deal. By settling on their auction, you may have missed another one that would have gotten you the product you were trying to buy.

And I'd have to give a big thumbs up to the "Shady" call because they've STILL got that auction running...

Thats stupid on their part for selling something they did not offer. Its definately a black mark on Rennenmotors, but nothing illegal or an absolute reason to exclude them. At least they didn't send you a box with an incomplete intake and you get even more ticked over that.

Blah blah... thats my 2 cents

It's actually strictly against eBay policy to list something for sale that you do not actually POSSESS... i.e. - technically, drop-shipping is against the rules on eBay (although they almost never enforce it as that would take money from their pockets - and those greedy bastards would never do that).

anyhow - if you don't have it, you can't even list it (is how it's SUPPOSED to work)

I was just saying if the company didn't want to give my money back to me then I could still get it back by filling a claim form out.

I actually had to call and then I got my money put back into my paypal account.
