Mine are on with my check engine light because of my intake. At least thats what I have been told by the dealer... I keep throwing a code for too lean.

i had the same problem. I bought my xb wrecked and it was hit on the front dirvers side, to fix the problem i had to replace a wheel speed sensor.

Yea, I'd say reset the ECU. Thats sounds wack...you running factory sway bars? Cause I had to take my front Hotchkis out because I was experiencing what you are...except my engine was sputtering. So on the bright side, at least your engine isnt sputtering and the VSC isnt coming on at 50mph on a straight flat road.

That or a wire might be kinked, or bent. Might want to check and see if the boots are clear of any twigs and or road debris. Those wheel sensors around the boots are a pain.

I believe that there is a TSB out for this- has something to do with the engine knock sensor-

the website that I know of that lists them is down at the moment....

Randode, this happened to me when the air sensor got dirty. All the lights came on and stayed on until I turned off teh car and restarted it. The dealership cleaned the air sensor and reset the codes. Basicly sprayed it with carb cleaner and reset the computer. Tey that and see what happens. :D I hope this helps.

Yeah, the MAF sensor. They basicly took it out and cleaned it off. It got dirty because I was experimenting with intakes. (Never again) :D

Same thing with me, but those lights come on for so many different reasons. After having my MAF cleaned they have not come back on for about 2k miles. The mechanic at the dealership said it would continue to happen and would eventually ruin my MAF. But, I think it only happened, because I didn't follow the instruction to the T and clean the pipe before install, thus leaving dirt and stuff in there making the MAF get dirty.

They told you it would come back? Mine hasn't come back since then. I wonder why they said that?

thats why mine went on...couldn't think of what i was doing....

i took off the intake pipes so i could put in a new upper rad hose. nothing should have caused this to happen. i did think the Mass Air Flow sensor had dirt on it....
