Driving today to a shoot, just minding my own business. Dump truck passes me in the opposite lane. Driving along and then "WHAM-OO!!!" Huge chunk of what I suspect was rubber nailed the top of the box. I didn't see anything until I heard the sound. Looked back and there is this football sized piece of black stuff flopping along behind me. When get to where we were shooting I check. Nice baseball sized dent on the roof right above the front passenger side of the windshield. Awesome.

I see you are in north Jersey, there is a dent wizard in Leonia, the guy there does a ridiculous job on dents, my dad got hit with a hail storm a few months ago and he did wonders. Hope it works out for you.

sorry man, i got my windshield replaced and 6 days later a rock chipped it right in my vision spot...though thats a lot cheaper and easier to fix than your problem, i feel your pain bro.

So on the topic of dents, I was on my way to work this morning and aparently, they resurfaced part of the interstate. I ended up getting barraged with loose asphalt. got to work and had to wash the crap off the car......terrible.

Just saw this again, dent is still there and this thread made me sad again. :(

I had the same thing happen to me with 500 miles on my torched B. I was driving back to the dealer to get my new rims and a big truck passes me like I was standing still but I was going 60. As he went flying by I watch a baseball size rock fly out the back and smash right above the windshield. :cry: I looked at that dent up until last year. I wished for awhile that it would of been the windshield but that sucker may of went right through, and knocked me out! It hit so hard my Bride jumped out of her seat. I watch it in slow motion helplessly to change fate.
