Are these good wheels?
I was looking at rota grids too but grids seem to be not so durable.

 

track or dd? rota's will be fine if your just dd'n.. i wouldnt track them personally though..

 

DD but if they break on the track only god knows what a pothole will do to them new jersey streets are terrible. i try to avoid potholes as much as possible but i still hit one every once and a while. Would tenzos hold up to a pothole every once and a while? i haven't read anything bad about them.

 

your going to be fine with either wheel for DD'n, and both will handle a pot hole every once in a awhile, just be aware of what is in the road, thats going to have to be one big a$$ pot hole do damage your wheel in any way. ha. but i guess if maybe if your thinkin about 18's go with 17's and get a bigger series tire. a little more cushin for the pushin.

 

I think im gonna go with 18 inch tenzos and just watch where im going.
My stockies are in bad shape due to potholes but i learned to drive on thos and its been 3 years so these days im pretty good at dodging the potholes.

tenzos will get damaged just as easily as rotas, they are both made using the same type of casting, potholes have the ability to destroy just about any type or wheels, just go with what you like, and watch out for curbs or potholes!

 

agreed. just be aware of where you're driving and go slow or avoid potholes and stuff. best of luck with your decision.
