this is my third set of b bat's tail overlays...
thats about 70 bucks with special deals cuz is F***ed up so many times!!!
...i know alot of you tC owners did the tail overlays..
but how many unsucessful like me?

and those sucessfull ones..!! how did you do it!
i keep getting nasty wrinkles by the corner of the lights closest to the center fo the car...
nasty and !!!!!!!!!!!AHHH!!!!!!!>>!>>>..... im gonna order one more.

No Its not funny..It ____ed me off as well..Did you try soaking the film in soapy water and installing them?

BBats did a How-To Article on it with pics.. I saw it and wanted to try again.. I will later.

Ya, take a look at my DIY application, complete with pics! Otherwise, maybe have a tint shop do it for you. I have a shop here in San Diego, I send my local customers to. He does a great job too :).

yea thanks bat.. good idea..
i read the DIY after the first time i messed up... and im on my 4th set now..
but the 2nd of sets i created myself through oracal... much lighter on my expense..
since i might F*** up again!! lol..

well for my half tail overlays..i wet it..then started at the end of the tail..working the way twards the hatch..once it dried i kept one finger on the side..and almost pulled the overlay twards the hatch..so mine is as tight as it gets with no bubbles..i jus had to cut the excess at the end

i did mine. wasn't too bad. not exactly perfect, but my side mirror overlays i beg to differ. those were even harder, but they're so close to being perfect. all you need is a little help and a handy blowdryer. :silly:

I got a set of these a while back. When I tried to put them on it seemed like they were the wrong shape. I could not get it to look right at all, so I put it back on the backing. Eventually I'll try the otherside to see if I can figure it out, then order another set to replace the one I messed up.

I can give you a great deal on a 2nd set ;).

Yeah bats smoke tail lights don't really work at all. Took mine to a tint shop and he couldnt get them on at all, he could only get the 3rd brakelight overlay on. I went to clear-guard.com and ordered the set of tailight overlays they have for the tC. More expensive, but theyre also thicker, better quality vinyl, and you wont need to get another pair, they actually fit. Do yourselves a favor and check em out.

the tint shop u went to sucks...i went to the local shop that bat sent me to...custom graphics, steven there charged me $30 for install on tails and sidemarkers...i also had trouble putting on the sidemarkers, but its lack of experience...cus steven got them on for me fine...its like ordereing springs online and doing it yourself or taking it to a shop...if you know how do it, if not have someone else do it...check my sig for pics of how it came out, bat gave me a great deal on the second set of sidemarkers too...


(by the way the headlight turnsignals and 3rd brakelight overlay are cake, did those easily...)
