Question about the Big 3
I'm going to do the Big 3 on my car this weekend and I have the guides and I've searched the forums, but I have a question about number 3. Is it really as simple as running a wire from the engine block to the frame of the car? I've seen pics on different websites but I'm confused. If anyone has a clear pic of this wire on a 1st generation XB, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.
1) alternator positive to battery positive, 2) battery negative to chassis, and 3) engine ground to chassis.

Yes. It really is that simple. I did two of them, passenger side and drivers side (4AWG). When doing the big-3, don't remove the existing wires... keep them and add to what's already there.
I don't have any pictures as you're looking for the 2nd gen xb. The ground point on the engine can be any point of metal. Generally most engines already have a solid ground point to utilize... they are generally grounded with a very weak lead is all. The importance of where is very minimal. You might be able to find a few big3 shots of tCs and take the idea from there.
