Joey,

 My wheels are eBay specials!?! I don't think so. I got them direct from the Buddy Club warehouse in SoCal. :lalala: And I never said you xB was a PoS! I guess you don't remember the last time I was down and you were offering other peeps $20 for the stuff they were selling.

Get your facts straight next time before running your mouth off.

I'll make sure I pass this on to those who'll appreciate those comments also.

not sure on the offset, but he has rear one ton grage shims too.
His is the direction I wish I had gone, I am not happy with my drop, there is still a wheel gap :(

I think The Teins S-Techs or the Tenabe's are the way to go.

I dont know crap about rims or tire configurations. Can someone explain to me why everyone seems to be using the OTG rear shims?? How much do the OTG rear shims run ($)?

superjeer
02-01-2005, 06:36 PM
the rear tires are sunk in further than the fronts in relation to the outside of the fenders. So, people put spacers or shims in the rear to make them the same flushness as the fronts in relation to their respective fenders.

Great thread guys!
I just wish more people would follow directions.
Having all the info would help others with their purchasing decisions.

I'm waiting on my tax return to purchase the wheels for
my (currently) stock ride. I was planning on going with 17" rims and
215/45/17 tires, but I'm liking the looks of 18" wheels on
the boxes. I just wish they weren't so much more expensive
and heavy for the 18"
