will all blocks work on all year tc's?

to my knowlege, yes. The 07+'s have only higher compression pistons and oil squirters and a different stock exhaust manifold design

That and the MAF sensor is different as well.

Oil passages and coolant passages are a little different on the 07+ as well. If you use your OEM harness and sensors there shouldn't be an issue putting in a 07+ block in a 05-06 tC and such. I am using a 07 in my build.

Will you pass inspection when you put in a new built block, will it throw of codes?

It will only throw codes if there is an issue. Most states you will be fine but if they check the vin on the engine then they may not pass you. The engine isn't going to physically run different unless there is an issue with a bad sensor, mechanical problem internally and/or it wasn't installed properly.

naptown is probably the worst scionlifer on the forums. i sold my block to deez and nap has been calling him telling him all kinds of crap. saying that it wont work yada yada. he has called me numerous times AFTER i told him the block was sold. he told me to sell the block to him anyway and refund deez's money. i just wanted people to be aware of the shady person whos name is naptownballer.
