Hey guys, I was wondering if it is necessary to get an alignment after installing the TRD springs, I know that it doesn't slam the car to the ground or anything, but does it affect the camber enough to start wearing out the inside treads of the tires?

yes u should get an alignment done after the install. supposedly it's part of the spring "installation". so u shouldn't have to pay extra for it.

Well unless you do it yourself. I plan to and than take it by the dealer to get an alignment done on it.

you don't need an alignment if you push on the strut when you tighten the 2 bolts in the middle of the strut

you dont... then you have a major camber problem

well you could do it yourself but don't forget you lose the warranty on them and anything it damages on your tC. if that actually happens that is.

Its not really, needed but to be on the safe side do it. Especially if you have wheels that are 18s and up.

I live by this rule: I would rather pay $60 for a wheel alignmnent now, than pay for two new tires a few months down the road.

Anytme I do suspension mods, or new tiores/wheels, I get an alignment. I've been going to one shop in particular for over 10 years because they treat all cars like they are priceless.

always good to get an alignment but some places might not have the data for the car yet because it is too new. happened to me, so now the place i took my car to do the lowering springs is finding another place for me to do the alignment.
