looking to get muffler 4 2005 scion tc. but i want somethin thats quiet n sounds stock. but wana add that extra 5 hp. got n e ideas anyone??

you said it you want something that sounds quiet like stock and sounds like stock....keep it stock....i dont think any exhasut will add 5 hp ill let the car breath also depnds on what you get.....custom or bolt on.....custom you would go after the cat..bolt on takes the second cat out..axle back wont give you any power just sound...

i think TRD and Borla are the quietest exhausts for the tc. you're not going to get much power gains, if any, but they sure sound nice and low.

 

Go with TRD!

 

TRD is louder than Borla

 

TRD is prob gonna be your best bet. But as for +5 horses...your never gonna get that realistically. Mufflers don't do jack. Only full exhaust systems do something and thats if you properly do it. Good luck though

 

i've heard the megan oe-rs is pretty quiet?
