Default Is There A List Of Whats Covered Under Extended Warranty?

I been looking around but can't find if there is a list of whats covered under warranty or not with the extended warranty. Im under the miles n everything but just wondering. Reason why I'm bringing this up is because my lower control arm needs to be fixed and the dealership told me its a part not covered and now im dishin out the money for it.

That was basically it, I think it's pointless because there is so much they don't cover and those parts are the parts that go bad.

Was your extended warranty actually through the dealer/Toyota though? Through their Extra Care program? Some dealers probably sell 3rd party warranties as well.

Honestly I have every single bit of documentation and stuff that came with my car - and I know my Toyota Extra Care stuff is in there.

For the control arm, it seems coverage would be dependent on the cause of failure. If they inspect it and find it failed due to a manufacturing defect, then they should cover it under warranty, but if it was damaged due to other reasons (bent due to hitting something, as an example), then no, you pay.

yea thats what i found out, a few years ago when i got into my bad accident that was one of the replaced parts and thats what they looked up in their computers so thats the reason for no coverage.
