So , I saw that white xa's are nicknamed pandas, which is so cute, but does anyone have a name for blue xa's? I can't think of anything good. I was going to call my car the japanese word for blue, but that words is pronounced like "owie" and that is a bit dumb sounding. But I still want to be a total crazy xa fan and name my car. Am I the only one? Do other people name their scions?? :nails:

Well, I haven't GOT my Scion yet (waiting a week now, but that's a long story; tomorrow morning they promise me) but I have named all my other cars.

I had a Camry named Max and a Civic named Electra.

My friend has a RAV4 and named it "Suvie" as in a li'l mini SUV. :P

It's fun to name cars, especially one like the xA since it has so much personality!

Blue color is a bit hard too name though. I think 'aoi' is a cute, there's also sky (or 'sora' in romanji) you can even combine it to get sky blue or 'aoi sora' :P

How about 'Dora' after the character in Finding Nemo? I think it fit well given the quirky but hugely fun nature of our cars :P

My wife coined my blue Xa " the Mistress". Here's why:
She came to me at 40 ( MIdlife Crisis time )
She's small, tight and curvy
If I push her too hard, she threatens to scream
She turns heads whenI'm seen with her ( I used to drive 4x4 trucks - I had three in a row)

And I'm constantly looking to but her things that I hope my wife doesn't find out about.

Mine is the Fire Rooster after the year I was born. You can translate that to a temperature and another name for rooster.

I have named my xA Misato. The name is from an anime as some might know. In NGE Misato always wears a red leather jacket . I named my car after doing the red highlights so imo it works.

My tC is named Renee. My truck is Pauline and my last car was named Cindi.

My phantom grey xA has been officially dubbed Cylon ala Battlestar Gallactica. I'm planning to putting a running red LED in the front grill and get custom CYLON plates.

I though about naming my Susan, but then I decided against it.

I used to have an 87 toyota truck...(toyota pride) and i ran that little guy till he croaked. he was quite the peppy little guy, so i named him Pepe. My parents decided to get me (...well "him") the licensplate called "PEPE 4 ME" of course everyone read it as peepee and pointed and laughed at me.

I've now got my polar white xA, and the name hasn't come to me yet...not something you can rush, be one with the car! I really like "panda" but 1) its obviously not origonal cuz i didn't make it up and 2) my friend's 86' carolla is 'the panda'

The names for my cars have lent theirselves well to the personalities they have. My neon I have is fitted with a similar sound system, body kit, and synchronized ICELED underglow and interior light show. I've nicked the neon Sprokets. My box has a better sound system and so far interior lights (a la ICELED) named Deter. I've been working on some blackout curtains for the box. The thing that sets them both well to their namesake is that my favorite music is techno. So it seems like my Sprokets and Deter fit their names well. Oh yeah, they are both about the same color (shadow mica). I'm going to get some white wagon wheel 18" for the box soon.

We have only had our 3.0 for about a day so we don't really have nickname yet, but what cracks me up is how we call them "boxes" I think it's really cute, but typically if some guy asked me to post a picture of my "beautiful box" on the internet, my boyfriend and I would probably get pretty mad.

Hello. This is my first post on this forum. I have a 2006 xB in Thundercloud Metallic. The only things I added at time of purchase were cruise and a roof rack for my bike. I got my box in late October of 2005, and it already has almost 14,000 miles on it. I've only been out of town in it once, and that was just Birmingham to Atlanta and back. The rest is intown driving. I love my car. My Mom calls it the Squaremobile. One of my friends from the radio club calls it XtraBoxy. As I am an amateur radio operator, the first name that came to mind was x-ray bravo. That's international phonetics for xB. So mine is called x-ray Bravo. It's my fourth car, and the first one I've named.

Named her "SCI OFF" and also "MYHOTTC" ( thats what my plates are )

Well when I first heard someone call the xB a toaster I went home and thought about it. I remembere the movie "The Brave Little Toaster", so on occasion when I go over treacherous terrain for the xB or outrun someone to get into the lane before the merge or anything lol I call it that, the brave little toaster. It's weird but I honestly can't stop doing it.

I just named mine *(_)* MouseMobile. Seems to have some something that makes me think of Mickey at certain angles. I've even made some 'mods' to Mickey Mouse my ride. Hmmm..... Maybe I can write to Disney and see if I can talk them into helping me.......'Disney, Mickey Mouse my ride!!!'
