I was at my local dealer today getting my oil changed. I saw that as of Feb 3rd you can get a port installed option of having your Xb's roof and spoiler painted a different color than the rest of the car......

Cooper cop-out. Still a handy little deal to fold into the financing. Do they paint the pillars too? If they did that would look good to me..

must be something they're just starting in your area - SE Toyota's offered that in the deep south (below NC I guess....) since last spring when the Hot Lava's came out. They look alright - I sported a black roof for a little while, but removed it... just never got used to it

Se oyota did not offer it when I got mine....no pillars

With the right colors, a two tone Xb would look absolutely sick

I have so much Black stuff on my Black Cherry Pearl xB, it's like having a two tone...from the front grill, to the 3M tape on the edge of the doors, to the bumper bit, the wing on the back...Maybe I should do the top...

I wasn't sure about the idea of a two-toned xB until I saw this one complete:

That's Justin a.k.a. HAMYxB a.k.a. 2TONEDxB.

The Change my be the "port installed" portion. When I ordered mine last spring the two tone option was a dealer installed option. This may be a different program.

I saw one that looked fantastic. If I remember, I think it was the lava w/ a cream colored roof/hood, w/ a dark pinstrip seperating the two colors. Sick.

But for $2K that is ridiculous. You could get that done for 1/2 the price at a quality shop, right?

It costed $899.99

Only lava two tone I know of. Its a South East thing. Toyota of Orlando told me they're the only central FL dealership to two-tone.

The two tone is painting the roof and rear spoiler only and is port installed as it appears on the window sticker

I've always thought that this two-tone kouki bB looked pretty nice... mostly because it has the color scheme of a mid-90s luxury sedan (like mercedes and lexus etc), which works well with the look of the car since the "theme" is sort of classy.. it's all about having the mods tie together to get the look you're after just right

those two links aren't two-tone. My xB and 2tone_xB are considered two-toned. Just about every dealership two-tone you'll ever see has the "line" in the same place. Its where the TCM and the Lava meet with a pin stripe on mine.

My dealership stopped two-tone all together b/c once its two-toned, its a warranty issue. Every few months the paint may chip off, and they don't like respraying a car every few months. There are less than 8 two-tone scions in Florida...atleast thats from what the dealership told me. Is that right, 2tone_xB?

Very nice, very clean. The red pinstripe is a nice accent, even if the white mirrors are a bit ... jarring.

The next time my S.O. and I can't agree on the color for a new car, I'm getting a two-tone paint job.

I have 15in. Enkei rims from the dealer. Those are stock-sized after market.

Those look simular to Mini rims, but i could've sworn I saw a Mini with 5 lugs...am I crazy? The mini rims are also a bit thicker. Still nice rims thou.

Dunno why decals cost 2k except dealer profit. However I saw those side by side with the two tone option at the dealer
As stated earlier they only paint the roof and rear spoiler..nothing else.... It was on a Feb. 5th dated bulletin with a picture and color combinations available
they also do it on the XA also i saw one there done BCP with a TCM roof it looked good
