I'm not sure if sound bytes are all they are cracked up to be. First, they are usually not recorded while under load, and two, I'm more concrened w/ cabin interior resonance.

I've come up w/ a nice sounding combination, and it doesn't have the interior resonance like some set-ups. I even had a few systems that were axlebacks from someone else.

squirrel .... your exhaust looks great ... I guess you had to do some Mood’s for it to be on center... I’m also looking for a more high pitch rather than a low sound... I guess the best way I can explain the sound I’m looking for is that of a 2 stoke dirt bike kind of sound... I had a Yamaha yz 250 back in my younger years and if I can get it to sound like that I would be very much satisfied ...

Just watch out for the cops, they kind of hate that sound.

There a kid in the hood with a wrx … the other night I herd something whale up my block … now mind you we have about a foot snow on the ground … I said to myself … who the hell is that whaling up the block with a rice burner .. So I look out the window ands it’s a WRX .. I swear to you it sounded like a dirt bike…. I guess im going to have to stop him and ask him about his exhaust sys.. I know a box will never come close to sounding like a W R X but its worth a shot

Yes, but it's hot... if you like that particular boxer sound. I think I'll just wait to get a Ruf 3400S.

I just installed a Borla axle back. I really enjoy the sound. Very mellow inside, very mellow outside. If anyone's interested I could record a sound clip. I can't host it, but I could email it.
