hi, just got my 2010 XB. I plugged my ipod into the usb port and it did nothing, not even charge.The other aux input plug works fine. What is this USB used for or is mine defective? IS it for another type of usb audio device? Thanx

Congrats on the xB.

As for the USB/AUX port it seems to be a common problem.

hi, Just wanted to post the update to my usb not working on the T1814. I got tired of waiting and decided to carefully pull out the radio and take a look in the back. The problem was, the usb plug was not plugged into the back radio. Now everything works as it should. Thanx

Can you load up a Flashdrive and plug it into the USB port and access it?

Grateful11, The problem was that the usb was unplugged in the back of the radio, dealer never did it right. NOw a USB flash drive as well as the ipod works perfectly. Thanx
