Default Shifts at high rpms

as a driver who has not had a stick in a minute..i find it alot harder to make smooth shifts at high rpms...if im in the 2-3k range my shifts are smooth, but at higher rpms... i get "bumps" every once in a while......TIPS??

its all about clutch play. when you learn how to work the clutch during high rpms, you shouldnt feel that bump. during high rpms, i quickly put in the clutch and quickly let it out w/o dropping it. thats the way ive gotten used to it and no bumps anymore.
