Has anyone put mud flaps on there xB?
Seems like they would almost drag on the ground.

I noticed the Scion dealers don't offer them for the xB.
I feel like I have seen them on pix of the bB awhile back.

I have tried searching here for info and got nothing so far.

No one has even considered mudflaps?

Hey Frank-
Would these bB's fit? Fun site. Just found it.

They should, it says they imported stuff that would fit on xB's. Wish they had a pic though.

I'm thinking some diamond plate flaps would be cool.

The site does have a pic. Just click the little camera.

crayon
would you make a template and cut up some universal rubber ones?

I would be concerned about the flexability of diamond plate as re: by Frank. They would have to be customized I guess too.

I don't like body colored flaps. I'm gonna have to make some out of diamond plate.

Cool beans, please let me know how it turns out?
I have seen those at Pep Boys. Pretty inexpensive too.
What about attaching them? Drill em right on? I see some holes in wheelwell area. I think that is what they are for.
Not sure,

Are the xBs mudflap ready? Drilling is needed I suppose?

I'm thinking a rubber and diamond plate combo so it will have some flex. It would be cool to be able to drag them anyway...lol.

I know Randode made some mud flaps a while back, email him and maybe he can make you some. randode@randode.com

I would love to modifiy some big mossy oak truck mud flaps and put them on for a splash of color. They are aluminum I think.

A dealer explained to me the reason xbs aren't offered mudflaps is that its wheels don't clear the fender wells, so theoretically stuff that flies up will get stopped by the fenders... whereas other cars the wheels are slightly protruding so dirt and stuff can fly up and spackle (sp?) along the side of your car.

Not sure if I totally buy that explanation... Anyhow... all cars should have mudflaps... it would cut down the amount of crap flying into our windshields and hood

The bB's appear to have them available, so who knows.

My dealer gave me a wacky explanation as to why they charge you $120 for mats and rear cargo mat but only give you the mats!

I got the rear liner anyway.

I am working with one of my sponsors to get some diamond plate mudflaps made. If someone could get me a template or exact measurements it would speed up the process quite a bit.
