Default Help!!! Cel p2102 with aem f/ic tuned with dezod pnp harness

I bought a turbo kit with a pre-tuned AEM F/IC and PnP Dezod Harness and apparently the shop installing the kit has just finished connecting the AEM unit with the ECU and as soon as they fired up the car, it threw a CEL (P2102 THROTTLE ACTUATOR CONTROL MOTOR CIRCUIT LOW) and the gas pedal doesn't respond at all. Yet when the AEM unit is unplugged/removed, NO CEL and the gas pedal/throttle works great.

Any ideas or suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated guys!!!

Thanks!

Did you do the calibration before turning on the car? Make sure your TPS is calibrated on the FIC.

I'll have the shop try this out...I called AEM and he says most likely need to run the calibration tool...

So this might cause the gas pedal not to respond...

Yes - it's like what you posted a couple of posts earlier - what the AEM guy had said..

You can calibrate your rpms and TPS.. definitely need to do the TPS first.

The shop installing the FIC says that something might be wrong with FIC harness and Dezod doesn't have any in stock to replace it

Well do they know or do they "think?"

They should check the wiring diagrams for the harness and against the ECU pinouts.. no guess-work here..

The S.O.B who told me that the turbo kit and all the components were made for an 07+ sold me a turbo kit with a 06 PnP harness!!! That's why the car was shooting off the fault codes...

the only thing that wouldint fit from a 05-06 to a 07+ is the MAF sensor if the maf sensor hole fit's your intake pipe then the kit is right.

Yeah dude...I must be crazy! hehe

I just wanted a turbo setup in my car regardless where the turbo was mounted LOL! But the original owner only had it set to a measly 4psi...
