Does anybody know a site where i can get a stock rear bumper painted? i tried looking on mcgeorge and trdparks but they both didnt have it, i got quoted for 1300 to fix a scratch on my rear bumper, im sure 1300 can get me a new pre painted bumper, although it got 1/4 of an inch on the side panel, i think it will be about 400 to fix the side panel, so a new bumper and to fix the panel would still be cheaper.

My tC was rear-ended and had to have the bumper cover replaced completely, sheet metal fixed under the trunk, and the lower part of the rear quarter panel repaired. I had it all fixed and painted at a very large autobody shop for $850. That was the bill they sent to the insurance company. $1300 is entirely too much for that work. Check aroound and I am sure you can find a better deal. Good luck!

I was also rearended by a hit and run in a parking lot and they bumper cover was replaced, the cost of the bumper cover itself is $223 and painting it was a little over $180 including labor - $1300 is insane

the stock bumpers don't come prepainted BTW, but you could order the part elsewhere and have it painted and install it yourself, there's only like 6 clips you just pop off the rear cover and replace it.

$1300..... lol... wow

yeah i thought it waas alittle exxaggerated, i brought it to another body shop, they told me 800. I dunno why they are so high, maybe i gotta find a cheaper shop, im just worried about the quality of the work, there is a penny size dent in the panel can that be whats boosting up the price..... by 800 bux -_-

If you're in the bay area theres a place I know in Fremont that will replace the rear bumper cover for 650.

Thats 205 for the bumper cover, and the rest is basically labor and paint.
