Great choice on wheels by the way--they will look awesome. peppy 01-28-2004, 05:36 PM thanks :) i'm thinking about doing the hyper black since the scion is black, it think it will look good, i want them as flush as possible without rubbing, casue i plan on dumping it pretty low westsype 01-28-2004, 06:21 PM I spoke to the dudes a mackin racing( volk rims importers) and they run a 18x7.5 +36 offset. Which they tell me is a pretty conservative offset. I seen some XBs with a offset of +25 all the way around and it is flush with the fender maybe even a hair sticking out a bit in the front but pretty nice set up for the back. So I would suggest probally a +30 all the way around of you want to keep the offset the same. If you want a staggered set up then probably like a +30 in the front and like +24 in the back. Just my opinion. diamond31 01-28-2004, 06:33 PM i feel stupid but what is offset exactly when ppl talk about it, it confuses me would i need it for 18's on a xA or 17's on it peppy 01-28-2004, 09:57 PM i feel stupid but what is offset exactly when ppl talk about it, it confuses me would i need it for 18's on a xA or 17's on it here it is pretty simple :) offset is how far the wheels are pushed out from the hub, the bigger the number the closer to the hub the wheel will sit so a 40 offset will have the wheel sucked in pretty far , you gotta watch it b/c if you go higher that 40 you might be rubbing your tires are your suspension or brakes, but you go for like a 20 offset you might be rubbing on your fenders, does that help?? its_ikon 01-29-2004, 01:07 AM http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=348 peppy 01-29-2004, 11:59 PM http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=348 thanks :) so i've decide i'll do 18x7.5 35 offset with 205/35/18 tires, can i get 205/35 tires??
