so basically I have a 07 Scion tc automatic with 55333 miles still owe 9 g's and aftermarket mods include grills fog lights and tein s tech drop, up for sale in a dealer down the street is a 06 standard with 59000 miles, with aftermarket 18's oem lip kit, fog lights, spoiler, and after market halo lights with what seems the same tein s tech drop for 11995. Any body work at a dealership or has had a recent trade in that could tell me how shady the used car dealers are or give me advice on how to find the best deal???sorry for the noob question but i dont want to get screwed over???and the only reason im considering is because i want an standard

KBB Trade-in value for your car if it is in 'Excellent' condition is $10,600.00.
KBB Private Sale value is $12,485.00. So, armed with this, just go in and haggle. It's not as if you NEED to get the manual, you just really want it. Another good idea is to have someone with you that doesn't really care if you get the car. That way, if you get too excited and want to go with a deal that may not be in your favor, you have someone to stop you!

yeah i seem to get over excited when it comes to getting a car especailly one like this...your right i dont need a manual i just want one...my scion was origanilly my sisters and when she got another car i took over the payments, if i had picked it out i wouldve gotting it manual to start with...but im going to start auto tech soon and i want a car i can work with....engine wise and i want a standard scion...theres also an evo at the same dealership for 2 g's more???
