Have had a 05 Camo box for a few months now & keep wondering if the mirror remote & dimmer area on the far left of the dash are supposed to light up at night? That corner is pitch black at night & cant imagine why Scion didnt make those controls light up like the AC & other controls in the center of the dash. Did they not expect the outside mirrors to need adjusting in the dark? Or is it just my car that has no lights for that area?

I guess they figured you can't see much at night so why would you adjust your mirrors? Not to mention you would never need to turn the traction control off. Roads are only slick during the day. Can't forget the nightime illumination dimmer. Why in the world would you need to be able to find that at night?

There is no lighting in that area for any XBs other than some installed by the owners.

Has anyone taken off the panel to see if there's a spot for a LED and if it will illuminate through the switches?
