they dont have it at full lift. Youll have to drive around with lower than full lift for a nice ride though. The car sits low even at full lift because the strut is shorter than stock.

check out phil's car at the shop, or se it when my kit is on. It doesn't get super high, as the strut is lower.

yeah i don't want super high i'm just wondering how high it is , sean(mybox) is making it seems like it's too low for daily use.

its not too low for daily use. The two times I drove my car with the front on it never scraped anything....

I'd like a system that was full height at where I'm at now, with a ride as comfortable as it is right now. And then when I sit the xB down, it'll be 1/4 inch off of the ground.

a 1/4" wont happen without cutting quite a few things. You could get pretty close though if you ran low pro tires on some 15" wheels.

Even if I wanted the bottom edge of the lip kit slightly above ground? I have 17s w/ 40 series tires right now.

BrianxB

doubtful. Your wheels should be right around the same size as stockers. My car sat about 1.5~1.8" off the ground dumped. The wheelwell plastics sat right on top of the tire, literally.

squirrel , add a deeper lip .

How about I just remove my wheel well liners?

(Hey Chris! When are you coming back to the Bay Area? Problem solved yet?)

the wheel well liners dont lets ya go lower but they let you roll when yer at full drop.

I know Sean will chime in, but he's using more than just the standard airlift kit. his camber plates are also smaller than stock (i believe). I think that's why he's so low, other than his super cool JDMness.

Maybe I won't go air then, and just get HKS coilover to replace the TEIN Wagons.

I found a few pics of the kit at almost full lift. It's Chris' Scion (the one EasyStreet prototyped the kit on) before he installed the air management system. The pics are of it lifted on shop air, about 80psi as opposed to the 175psi air management system. I know Chris will have more pictures once the 18 plus inches of snow is off the ground. I agree with BrianxB, it's not to low for daily use, and sure beats riding on any set of coilovers!

If you follow the below link and click on the Scion picture on thier webpage you can see more pictures as well.

That's interesting Brian. I'm sure Chris will post more pics come summer at a higher psi full lift. Do you have any pics of yours lifted? I was there the day they took pictures of his Scion and I know that Air Lift's shop compressor doesn't pump out much more than 80psi. How much pressure did it take to get full lift on yours? How much higher than that did your kit get?

Tamago

pressure has nothing to do with lift height...

it relates directly to speed tho..

something's wrong then. your struts are undersized.

(Hey Chris! When are you coming back to the Bay Area?

i wish i had time away from work. Haven't been home for more than a week then they send me out again. Been gone for 3 month. First Michigan then alabama, then Vancouver(Canada). Now i'm headed out to Bama again and right after that straight to Taiwan. I miss driving me xB but still have to finish my airride setup

Problem solved yet

Quick is paying me back. This is his second payment back to me but it is being clear through paypal right now.

Cool, so the problem is slowly beig resolved then. Stop working so hard!

one problem with the struts was melted seals and the other problem was that some of the strut units were shipped without first being pressurized. mybox's werent properly charged.

I've got the same problem. It takes a good 110-120 psi to get the front to ride height. At 80 psi my fender liners are sitting on the tires still. I was even lucky enough to get a tire stuck in the fender well already.....

BrianxB

I was lucky enough to have two of them lock up completely...

..so are you looking for other alternatives, or are you going to re-install another set of them? (air struts)

PSI has everything to do with height.

Im going to try the EAI front kit.

PSI has everything to do with height.

Thank you Capt. Obvious.
