TRD shifter shortens the shift throw by 20% changing the shift pivot point , not by just cutting the shift arm down 2 or 3 inches (which drops your shift knob down 2 or 3 inches into the console) . This shifter will keep your shift knob at the stock height but will shorten the throw by 20% it will also give a more positive solid shift, unit comes with a new cage with modified shift pivot and metal bushings instead if the stock rubber as well as new shift arm & large TRD shift knob . All hardware included .

Nice pics! That's definitely on my "want list". Does McGeorge take the $50 gift cards from Toyota Finance? I have one that I need to use by the end of the month, and I hate to spend it on overpriced stuff from my dealer.

Hi Jason
Yes we accept the $50.00 cards email me the info on the card if you want to place a order .
The shifter is a fairly easy install should take about 30min install time .
It does not come with directions from TRD so I have printed directions to include with all the ones we ship out .

off topic

I find it it funny that trd doesn't give it an instruction guide.
Also, mcgeorgeparts says "A Future Scion Owner". lol

I'm sick at home, that's why I have all these posts.

Are the TRD springs progressive? My g/f wants to lower the car and I am doing the research. Also, does it come with instructions or a guide? My dad and I are going to do (we've done engine swaps) but you know the smallest tricks can sometimes make the biggests differences. Thanks.

TRD refers you to the Scion Repair Manual for the install since the directions are the same as it would be for a stock shifter .

(Also, mcgeorgeparts says "A Future Scion Owner". lol )
I guess I could list all the ones on our lot but we can't keep them here long enough to claim one, the bank owns them anyway .
We did purchase and hardtag a white tC so we can have one here for customers to drive and demo.

The TRD springs are Progressive Rear, Linear Front. They do not come with instructions but there are some good install guides on scionlife if you do a search . I can also provide directions from the Scion repair man. if needed .

Thanks Paul

Anyone have the pdf for this handy? Just want to see whats involved. Concerned with warranty but if its as simple as unscrew the old one and put this one in then in my mind then it would be hard pressed for the dealer to void warranty on me installing it since its so basic and would be hard to screw up.
