Full 3" mandrel exhaust built for greddy turbo'd TC
What's up everyone! My name is Jimmy. I own a fabrication shop in Buena Park. I'm literally 3 doors down from Ross's shop (MidNight Garage), which alot of you know. Since he's moved in next to me, we've been exchanging alot of work, (awesome guy!) so I figured I'd post up the custom 3" mandrel exhaust I built for one of his customers turbo'd TC.
The exhaust was built from the turbo housing all the way back to his axle back exhaust which he will be changing in the future. 3" all the way, 100% TIG welded, total of 3 o2 bungs were added as well as new flanges and hangers.

yup cost more thats the downside, but if you modify and wrench on your car frequently it will be a benefit for you.. You dont have to be buying new gaskets every time you disconnect your exhaust, plus its quicker to disconnect. It also allows you to rotate a the pipe if needed

very true
but usually ppl arent changing their exhausts every week
but like everything else.. comes down to $$$
V-Band's are definately awesome!!! Like most of you said, if you plan on dis-connecting your exhaust frequently, thats the way to go!
The customer basically just wanted a true 3" mandrel exhaust, didn't want to put out too much money (tried to talk him into stainless), so i feel we accomplished what he was looking for.
We also did high temp ceramic coat the entire piping for him.
Thanks for all the replies!
