and oh yeah when i get ready to do my gauge cluster in the cubbie next to the shifter, thats the only mod i'm gonna do inside the cab

Just to let you know, that the sound has been pinpointed to the Pioneer radio head~ It seems that the metal housing rattles with one of the parts inside, problem is that opening it would void it's warranty!

You could always drill a small hole in it and shoot in some expanda-foam. That would make it quiet.

..Real quite.

Getting the dash out is a _____! I got mine out only enough to drop some wires for the satalite antenea between the vents and to bypass the ducts. You would have to pop out the windshield side pillars, remove the ac knobs and remove all the screws from the center console. Once the HU is out there are some nuts to left of the airbag. and a screw on the left side of the dash under the trim. It is difficult to pop out the tac/speedo cluster even if you manage to remove the screw rivets from above- and especially without cosmetic damage to the delicate textured plastic parts. I do not advise trying to remove the dash.
