Default HID Kit Problem - Flickering/Not Turning On - Please Help!

I Installed a HALO (brand) 8000k HID Kit in my '05 tC. It worked fine for the first couple of months, and then one day I noticed that the passenger side headlight didn't come on. Since then it flickers briefly when I flip the headlight switch and then quickly goes out, or sometimes it warms up and works fine for a while but then goes out randomly while I'm driving. The driver side headlight works perfectly. I looked into it a bit and based on advice from a few different people I just bought and installed a relay harness to pull power directly from the battery(http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/9005-...Q5fAccessories). The problem hasn't improved at all. Any ideas? I'm beginning to think the ballast may be the problem, but I really don't know anything about electrical. I installed the ballasts on the frame on opposite sides of the radiator based on an install guide I found on YourSciontC.com (http://www.yoursciontc.com/forums/in...howtopic=16869). The link to the pics is broken now. Anyways fixing this problem is going to require taking the front bumper off yet again, so i really wanna get it right this time. Thanks for your help.

Definitely sounding like a ballast problem. Try swapping ballasts from side to side and see if the drivers side starts having problems

Yeah, sounds like the ballast to me. Same thing happened to my 8000Ks a few weeks ago. I ended buying new set up with 5000K and smaller digital ballasts.

first of all, disconnect all connection on the bad side and re-plug everything. sometimes, one plug get loose and then lose connection. Then, if still doesn't work, switch both ballast of side. if the problem stay on the same side, its the bulb. if the problem goes on the other side, its the ballast.

Why on earth would you buy a kit off eBay? DDM Tuning or Mod-Express is what I would choose.
