AEM FI/C help
I have a 2008 scion tc, and I just put on a turbonetics kit. I loaded up the base map that turbo kits gave me, now my car wont go pass 2100 RPM plus I got an engine check light. I tried the to calibrate the TPS and RPM inputs, but its not doing any thing
Check to see if the MAF map is blank. If it is, then make sure the parameters in the setup menu are set to percent, not voltage. This should solve the problem. It sounds like it's in limp mode.
word...does sound like limp mode to me aswell which is why i was thinking it being a loose charge pipe. I had problems keeping the coupler on my TB, neck of the tb is just so short and its awkwerd to work with.
Ok I got my car to S&R Performance, they fix the problems with the rpm. but now there is a new problem, when you start to boost the car shuts off and you you get an engine check light. The engine check light is P1122 Throttle Position Stuck Closed, they do not know what is causing the throttle position to close during boost. has anybody ran into this problem, or may know whats going on.
they dont know why its staying close during boost, they are stumped and dont know what approach to take. the tb works fine when your not in boost, only when you take it past 1 or 2 psi then it happens. You can rev the engine in idle to 6000 rpm, and nothing will happen.
