Well...unless you want to see out past the rear window, then you could always buy a larger clip on mirror...they can be had for ~15 bucks nowadays.

When I look out of my rear view mirror, I can see the edges of the rear window just fine...so it does the job well enough for me.

I do think the xB rear-view mirror is a bit too small. I'm used to having a bit of the rear vent windows in my field of vision. Also I can't see the edges of the rear window all the way around and I lose the visual points of reference.

I like my clip-on wide angle mirror, along with stick-on mirrors for the sides ... Only problem is that you lose the day-night thing and you risk being blinded by a tailgating Ford Excursion, even with the tinted anti-glare type.

Y ea i couldnt stand the small stock mirror, so i got a 330mm broadway mirror. That suckers helps me alot, but the only thing is that when people sit in my passenger seat & they flip down the visor it bumps my mirror. Thats the only problem i have w/ that, but it really does help you though.

Does anyone feel that a larger rearview mirror might be more help on the xB? Maybe even a panoramic clip-on type? Has this been discussed...
I agree the stock mirror is too small.

I have a Broadway Convex "Type A" 240mm center rear mirror that is extra bright (it's made for dark tinted windows). I like it very much. It does not bump the sun visors. I got it from:

Ditto. I love the broadway, it makes so much more sense to have that in your car....huge back window, tiny stock mirror. It helps huge.

The passenger visor does bump it though, but not a big deal.

mine only hits i guess because of where i place the mirrow when im dirving, if they fold it straight down then it will it but if they pull it out a little bit then fold it wont hit.
