Default 07 tc reflash back to stock problem

** UPDATE: the production Dates May 2006 through April 2007 scion tc ecu will not be able to reflash back to stock map. learned it the hard way today. the dealership tried to reflash twice and failed. called up corporate toyota, the response was also negative. so the 07's are considered "2007MY" what ever that means. if you got the ecu reflashed, there is no way to go back, other than another ecu.

You still have to hop two pins on the OBII port after buying another to re-key the new (junkyard) ECU... what has Toyota done with these damm ECU's??

Follow this DIY, I can vouch that it does work. I've done it first hand on a friends car.

make sure you have the lights flashing in the guage cluster. if not that means its not making contact with the pins.
