Default How about the PIE adapter?

Has anyone gotten the PIE aux adapter available for the tC? I used a BlitzSafe adapter in my VW and loved it. Hope someone has tried it. The dealer wanted 850 for the XM equipment and installation. Was priced too high for me.

yeah, i got the PIE aux input adapter for mty tC. it's awesome! i have a skyfi2 xm radio. all i do is hook it up to the headphone jack and it sounds awesome. the best part is that i can hook up anything with a headphone jack to it...like an ipod...or my friends keyboard, it's funny.

i totally recommend the input adapter. i didn't know how to get it working, all you have to do is press the cd button twice on the stock head unit.
it was so easy to install. it clicks in the back...then you can hook up whatever you want to the rca inputs, i hooked up a headphone to rca cable. it took me longer to route the cables than it did to install it.

they are out of stock at both places, but it's worth the wait.

Default Thanks man

Thanks. I loved the BlitzSafe adapter in my VW but that company doesn't make one for scion that I've found, and I didn't know for sure if it worked in the Scion since it works in the Toyota's which have a diff radio. I'll be sure to get it as soon as it's back in stock. By the way I have the original Roady. It rocks.
