Hey, some of you may have seen the new spoiler being sold for about 450 at the dealership. I was wondering two things. If anyone had pictures of it (Ive already seen it but want a pic) plus if anyone knows where I can find it cheaper.

No offense but that link is not the spoiler offered by Scion. That is some cheap aftermarket spoiler that doesnt even really fit right. I have the Scion pedestal spoiler on my tC and this is what it looks like...

I was thinking it looked bad on all the colors i saw so far but the silver one looks sweet. I'll probably get that one.

Thanks! I just recently put the spoiler on. To be honest I wasn't sure if I would like it or not cause I have seen it on other colors and didnt really care for it. But the same goes for my rims. I saw them on a flint mica at first and hated them. But had them put on my ride just to see and ended up loving them. The graphics are courtesy of http://www.DecalKits.com. Where are you located??

Each to his/her own of course. For me I believe in an old saying "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all". You are one of the very few who have stated differently about my car looking good. But thats ok, everybody here is either showing what they got or finding out whats available... you don't like it... nobody forcing you to look at it. :silly:

Well I installed mine myself and yes it is a little bit heavy in my opinion. But in person I really like the look of it a lot. They actually give you new hatch struts with the spoiler for the additional weight so you really don't have to worry about it to much. But honestly it is not enough weight difference to make it so outstanding that I wouldnt recommend it to everyone who is looking for a spoiler to go on their tC.

I've yet to see a spolier that works well with the lines of the tC. I may never see one.. I think it looks good without it.

Nah Cq107, I got mine from Capitol Toyota/Scion and I'm staying away from the factory 18's. I don't like the way they look.

I'm with you on this one. The only one I would really consider is the lip spoiler. The pedestal spoiler, IMO, doesn't match up with the lines of the car at all. The profile looks decent, but from behind it doesn't.

why is the lip spoiler more expensive than the pedestal? mmm, has me scratching my head.

I agree, the pedestal spoiler is a nice spoiler but it doesn't match the car. I got the "cheap aftermarket" one mentioned above from spoilerdepot (which by the way fits perfectly!). I love it, have been very pleased w/ the quality, the look, and the price!

don't know if anyone has gotten it yet, but at least it's a little bit bigger than the lip spoiler, but not nearly as big as the pedestal, and it looks kinda allright

Glad to see someone else with a Black Cherry Pearl tC w/ the Pedestal Spoiler ... i have yet to see another black cherry pearl out on the road (2 at the dealer) let alone any tC with the Pedestal Spoiler ... i love how it looks .. cant wait to lower the car .. install the front lip ... TRD muffler ... hotchkis swaybars ... Pirelli tires .. so many mods .. so little money .. thats all i gotta say ... :flame:

I actually got to check mine out before it was put on my car. It was extremely light. Plus it comes with upgraded shocks for the hatch to support the extra weight.
