what ibnboxins been up to.
ok hi everyone. been a while since i posted anything. i have been around. but haven't gone to events or logged on to scion life.
first off still have my scion and driving it. but still struggling money wise. had a job for a while. but company closed its doors and back into the unemployed world. yeah my life sucks badly.
next thing is i am about 9 days away from being a dad. nervous as hell. but kind of looking forward to it. i now live in lake stevens. had a fallout with my sister and had to move. we still talk, but i don't live with her anymore.
also in September my mom passed away. it was unexpected. she was at work and was walking back to her office and collapsed. two good things about this events. one is one of her coworks said hi to my mom as she passed by her and my mom didnt respond to her. it was not like her not to respond to anyone in the office. so the lady followed her to her office and was thier when she collapsed. they other was that her office has CPR training and started cpr as soon as she collapsed. unfortunately it didnt help my mom survive. my mom had diabetes and when they took her glucose count she had 700. normal is 80 to 120 or so.
her loss was a big hit to me. even when i am in downtime in my life talking to her made my life better. she will be deeply missed.
i see a lot of good stuff has happened in the scion world. some new faces and some people have moved on to new types of cars. i might try and make some meet and greets. but for right now my car is still stock. i lack funds to get new items. but still enjoy it as stock. i have a few parking dings and such. one was a kid pulled in to a parking space hit my xb and drove off. was nice of him or her. i saw it but couldnt read the license plate. badly in need of a wash and wax. yeah it is driving me nuts. but with no garage and the apartment doesnt have a wash area for cars and i dont do carwashes. as they scratch you car badly.
pretty much just stopping into say hi and let you all know i am still around and still alive.

I'm sorry to hear about all the tough items occurring in your life.. Hang in there and it will get better.
Don't worry on whether or not you have items on your car. Friends & Family are "WAY" more important then what your car looks like and or who has the nicest car. It's a lot of fun working with cars, but in the end they will not be with you forever. Even if your car is bone stock or has dings or is dirty, you can still hang out with the Scion people - I would hope that you wouldn't be judged by another car enthusiast on the condition of your car
Sad to hear that your mom passed away, it just shows how life moves so quickly and that we need to cherish every min we can with someone we care about.
Be strong and hang in there, remember there is always someone out there for you. Even with all the tragic things happening to you - remember you're going to be a dad soon and that, even though scary, is going to be the best thing to happen to you, which i'm sure most dad's here can agree with (not I since i'm not a dad).
so on that note - congrats on the newborn - when he or she is born
