I finally got my H Tech springs installed. They haven't settled yet, so I'm hoping the rear will go down a little bit more. Other than that, it rides just as it did stock and I'm quite happy with it.

 

I'm liking it. I'm trying to pick up some lowering springs too, probably the H-Techs as well, where'd you get them?

 

i have a tc with the htechs... is your drop 1.9 in front and 1.5in back

 

looks great dude. definitely lower than my NF210's.

 

the H-Tech springs for the 2008 xB are 1.7" (F) and 2.2" (R)

 

I got them from AssaulTech.com who is a supporter of SL. They were about $220 I believe, it was by far the cheapest anyone had them with shipping and tax to Cali. As for the drop, it's 1.1" in the front and 2.1" in the rear. I would of liked to gone 2inches in the front, but I would of completely destroyed my front lip more than it already is. Only thing left is to put on my 19" Konig and suede up my headliner.

 

I'll check them out, if the H-Techs are that low, S-Techs must be LOW? Did you take pics for a DIY?

 

The S Tech springs go a little lower in the front. The specs are 1.7" in the front and 2.2" in the rear. If you don't have a lip kit, I'd say go with them. LOW xB's looks sicc!!

They're 18s and the springs have been on for several thousand miles.

 

is there any rubbing? with the s-techs?

 

It's not my car so I don't really know, but I doubt it. My friend hasn't said anything. His rims are 18x8 et40 or et38, so they're pretty conservative as far a fear of rubbing is concerned.

 

h-techs with stock 16s and s-techs with 18s.... any one have a photo with any of the springs with 17s? ahhahaha

the h-techs look pretty good with the stock 16s, 17s would prob clean it up.

I've been running the S-Techs with 20s and I haven't had any issues with rubbing for what it's worth.
