Default Tein Coilovers installed. Awesomeness and *New* pics (pg.1) inside.

Well, against what most people buy coilovers for, I got them to raise my car to fit my track wheels/tires.

Well, after install, I slammed the car down for the fun of it, but I didnt get any pictures. So I raised them up, and put my track wheels on and hit the roads around my house. Man, what a difference they make. The car has no body roll what so ever, and makes navigating corners much easier. The car feels tighter at all speeds, and is a whole different machine. A

As that is all well and good, the ride is a bit harsh, but I can handle it.

Pics.

Race ready

You can check the full size pictures on m flickr in my sig.

Lookin' good man, glad to see you able to throw the race rollers on! Can't wait to see pics from when you get out to the track. Don't forget to get an alignment and solid corner balance!

How'd you get those bumper clips to work, just shave out the old plastic connectors or do you leave them on and just not attach the mounting screws/bolts?

I just mounted the clips with bolts/nuts, and I dont have any fender wells, or plastic in the front besides the splitter. So all the stock push in "clips under the headlights stay.

OP how much did it cost to get that clip for the front bumper installed?
Cuz I was planning on relocating the bolt that holds the bumper and fender together for less rubbing but that looks alot more interesting and might be cheaper.

like $4 worth of bolts and nuts from the hardware store. All those bolts and nonsense are gone, and my fenders are rolled too.

were the gardners giving you problems with the front? I also considered the bumper fasteners, but does this allow random people to steal your bumper?

thanks for showing tein some love. that racelands has so many hits/comments, i thought that it was taking over.

I helped install racelands on a friends tC. besides the part where they totally failed, and come loose in every way possible, the quality was terrible. I would rather the the instructions and spanner wrenches to the TEINs then 2 sets of raceland garbage.

No, no one will steal my bumper, there re clips still holding it on under the hood. However if someone wants it that bad, they can try and take it.
