Is 7.84lbs to light for an XB? I tried a search for the weight of the stock flywheel but couldnt find it.

Your revs will drop faster, so you'll need to shift faster...but that's it. I want to say the stock flywheel is 18-20 lbs, but I know nothing. dgHotLava 02-06-2005, 03:30 AM i was looking for the thread....the guy took the flywheels to the supermarket to weigh them....lol i have the 17-18 pound range stuck in the noggin.... if you wait till friday i'll tell you.... a lightweight flywheel has draw backs... if its too light , it will make driving difficult. the car will tend to lurch (aka bucking) or stall. this is because the rotational mass is too low. mikochu 02-06-2005, 04:12 AM Yeah, Michael Devera from the EchoDrivers.com forum weighted the Tom's flywheel at Publix. However, he did not weigh the stock flywheel... jct 02-06-2005, 04:24 AM man more of a good reasion to stay stock with more things  oh my dgHotLava 02-06-2005, 02:34 PM ok, i'll weigh mine...wait till friday... |
